On November 13, 2019 I gave my inaugural speech at the Auditorium of TU Delft – the speech “Campus matters” is now available on TU Delft’s COLLEGERAMA. The book will follow end of 2020.

On September 19, 2012 gave a lecture for Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). EUR renovated their C building – making it a more sustainable building – and celebrates the reopening with a short seminar. On March 8, 2012 a German group from HIS (Hochschul-Informations-System) visited Groningen University for a workshop to compare the Dutch and German situation at universities (and university campuses). My contribution to the discussion: March 8, 2012 – AdH – HIS, Groningen.

On January 27, 2012 Dutch universities organised a seminar “Het nieuwe werken bij de universiteit” (the new academic workplace); my short contribution about our own building “BK city” can be found here: January 27, 2012 (Utrecht – HNW bij de universiteit) – AdH over BK city. On January 13, 2012 I gave my first 2012 lecture for University of Strathclyde in Glasgow: January 13, 2012 (AdH) – Glasgow – University of Strathclyde (workshop). In 2011 I also wrote two articles in Dutch that I ‘forgot’ to upload: “Campus wordt duurzame kennisstad – het delen van ruimte als positieve keuze” (Hoger Onderwijs Management, nr. 4, jaargang 3, mei 2011, pagina 8 t/m 10) AdH in HO_management_mei 2011 (p8-10) en “Waarde toevoegen op de campus” (Real Estate Magazine 76, 14e jaargang, juni 2011, pagina 24 t/m 27) REM76-AlexandraDenHeijer (p24-27).

On December 6, 2011 Delfia Batavorum invited me for a lecture for their members and guests – the event was sold out. The title of my lecture was “Bouwkunde na de brand – project en ontwerp: made in Delft”. On November 26, 2011 I was in Brussels to be part of the HUMANE seminar “Sustainable universities” – with policy makers from many European countries. On November 24, 2011 a group of twenty Real Estate professionals from Finland visited Delft – in my presentation I merged the case BK city with campus management theory: November 24, 2011 – (AdH) KIINKO Finland

On November 2, 2011 I visited Barcelona for a conference Social Learning Space by invitation of The Spanish Ministry of Education. My presentation: November 2, 2011 (AdH) – Barcelona – Social learning spaces.

On October 14, 2011 a group of Canadian students (University of Calgary, with prof. Sasha Tsenkova) visited Delft. My presentation for them: October 14, 2011 (AdH) — Canada — The making of sustainable BK city.

On October 6, 2011 I presented my research in a Masterclass “Campus of the Future” for French and Dutch delegates, related to French/Dutch universities: October 6, 2011 – FR-NL Masterclass (AdH). The venue was Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). The other speakers were Mr. Jean-François Clerc representing the Ministry of Higher Education & Research (Ministère de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche, grands projets immobiliers) and Mr. Kees Lansbergen, campusmanager EUR www.eur.nl/english/campus_facilities/.

On September 13, 2011 I summarized my research for a group of about MSc students (TU Delft, Architecture, Master studio Interior Architecture): September 13, 2011 (AdH) – MSc studio Interior Architecture.
